I’m pretty sure that horseman statue is Giuseppe Garibaldi, but I didn’t write anything down and I’ve slept since then. Cool statue no matter who it is, though.
La Scala, everyone! By the way, I love mosaics.
I also love stained glass and cool windows.
And vaulted ceilings! And statuary on buildings.
The bottom 3 are from the Milan Galleria, which was a nightmare since there were so many people. Fortunately, I got pictures of this amazing part of the floor including the Savoyard heraldry.
And one last picture from the restaurant where we ate lunch after gadding about across from the Duomo. Perhaps I should have said Gedding about. At Lerxst, Rush fans will know why this picture is here.
