Greetings all!
While we were in Como, we took a trip up to Bellagio and back. Along the way, we saw a bunch of cool stuff. Let’s get started.

Most of these pics are looking back at Como. The first one, by the way, shows our hotel, though it’s pretty fuzzy when you zoom in. We visited the Duomo in the bottom left for mass, by the way. It was pretty amazing.

There are so many amazing places on the lakeside. If you made me, I could theoretically accept living at one of these. If you made me.

Just so many mansions. It would be so cool to be able to walk down steps into the lake. And have your own lake boat with its own garage? Yes, please. I probably need to win a bigtime lottery for this to happen, but man, it’d be cool.

The mountains off in the distance were gorgeous too. Switzerland is off that way, by the way.

If I remember correctly, the mansion in the middle is the one owned by George Clooney.

Most of the pictures here are of the town of Nesso. On the bottom row, you can see a waterfall in the back. More pictures of this gorge and waterfall are on the Google Maps page of the Orrido di Nesso.

More from Nesso and then one of the several funicular railroads on the side of the lake.

More trees. More mountains. More mansions. More more more!

These pictures of the regional cardinal’s lake home. The one that wasn’t big enough for him and his retinue.

The bottom ones are of my taking pictures up the top half of the lake, which is shaped like an upside down Y.

Middle right is Bellagio. The bottom ones were of a building on its own on the mountainside.

Back to Como, include its own funicular railroad.
That’s all the pictures, but wait, there’s more!!!!
Let me introduce you to Larrie at https://larrielakecomo.com/en/. Larrie is a rather hip lariosaurus.
What’s a lariosaurus, you ask? Don’t ask me, go to the website. You have to listen to his theme song, too.
I first noticed Larrie when I saw the stuffed toy Larries at one of the tourist trap shops. It took me approximately 0.3 nanoseconds to get one for the grandbaby.
Tomorrow, more from around Como.
